Civil & Structural Engineer (+2-3yrs)
An opportunity is immediately available for a Graduate Civil & Structural Engineer with at least 2-3years public sector and consultancy experience as a design team member on urban infrastructure projects.

To be considered for this Civil & Structural Engineer role you will:
Role and Responsibilities:
• Support the Senior Engineers and technical management on the delivery of a wide range of projects to the highest quality and to budget.
• Assist the senior engineers with the preparation of project calculations, specifications with increased autonomy
• Assist the design team with the delivery of accurate project drawings within allocated budgets
• Attend site carrying out site inspection and surveys and supervising recent graduate engineers
• Able to collaborate and coordinate with all members of the design team, internally and externally.
• Understand and implement the company ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Use initiative, manage and prioritise their own workload and meet challenging deadlines.
• Willing to travel around the UK and stay away from home for short periods of time
• Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
• In order to be considered for this programme you must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK
Experience/Qualifications:
• 2:1 degree (or above) in MEng (Hons)/BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an approved course for enrolment onto a Graduate Training Programme. It is expected that you will be actively working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer and mentoring will be provided.
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years working in a engineering consultancy.
• Experienced in using STAADpro, Masterseries, CADDS, SAND design software or similar
• Experienced at carrying out structural surveys
• Knowledge and experience of AutoCad and Truview required
• Knowledge and experience of SketchUp desirable
• Experienced in use of MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat essential.
• Experience of Using Microsoft Sharepoint preferable
• Valid UK Driving Licence
